My name is James Howard, I am in my early thirties and I live in rural Co. Longford in Ireland with my partner and two children. We live in a 100 year-old farm house on five acres of land.
This year, I decided I didn’t have enough to do with kids, a house that needs serious refurbishment, a four hour daily commute and five acres of land to cultivate so I bought a Jensen Interceptor to spend my spare time and money on.
I have never owned a classic car before and I generally regard cars a necessary evil that one has to use to get one place to another. My other car is a Mazda 121 and my partner drives a Ford Mondeo Estate. I got an Interceptor not as a means of transport, but as a means of arrival. This theory will work if I ever get anywhere
