James Howard

That’s me, the idiot that bought the car and set all of this in motion. For more details about me, see here.

Joanna Pearman

My partner, who has been incredibly supportive through all of this. I possibly would never have bought the Jensen without her encouragement so she has only herself to blame

Norah Pearman

Norah is Jo’s grandmother and she graciously agreed to store the Jensen in her garage for four months while I got my act together and organized what needed to be organized. She makes a mean bowl of chilli cabbage soup.

Steve Payne

Of Jensen Monday Club fame, Steve did the work on the car to get it roadworthy. He has been an absolute wonder during this whole process and there isn’t the vaguest possibility that I would have gotten the car on the road without him.

Ger Baldwin

Ger is an old friend from college who rode shotgun on the trip home. Ger actually has a clue about cars which is somewhat helpful to somebody of my as yet limited mechanical skills

Andy Brooks

Of Richard Appleyard Engineering, Andy is the man for parts. He has everything this Jensen owner needed, and what he doesn’t have he can probably get somewhere.

In the true tradition of the Shakespearian Tragedy that this story keeps threatening to become, I have assembled a list of the principle characters in this drama so far.
